Brian Rossbert
Executive Director
Fun Fact
I was a Junior Olympian in Nordic ski jumping in my youth.
About Brian
Brian Rossbert (he/him) grew up in Colorado’s mountains doing just about anything outdoors you can imagine. He attended Adams State in Alamosa, CO (Go Grizzlies!) before heading to Washington, DC to chase a dream of working in politics. He worked on Capitol Hill for Colorado Congressman John Salazar and attended graduate school at Wesley Theological Seminary. After a four-year stop in Nashville, Brian moved back to Denver and has called it home since 2013. He has worked at organizations dedicated to the common good and happily joined Housing Colorado in 2021. At Housing Colorado, Brian works on policy change at all levels of government and oversees the small, but mighty team.
Brian and his wife Laura (who also works in affordable housing) are raising two daughters who are fierce in their love of the place they call home and the neighbors who reside there. Their family is not complete without their adorable 8-pound doggie, Freddie (yes, they thought he was a puppy when they adopted him).

Maryjane Jarvis
Conference and Events Manager
Fun Fact
I’ve climbed 40 (and counting!) of Colorado’s 14ers.
About Maryjane
Maryjane Jarvis (she/her) grew up in a small town along the shores of Northern Michigan, where she developed a deep appreciation for community and the beauty of the outdoors. She attended Central Michigan University before heading to Chicago, where she began building a career in nonprofit fundraising and events.
After making her way to Colorado, Maryjane continued her work in mission-driven organizations, connecting people around causes that matter. She joined Housing Colorado as Conference & Events Manager, where she combines her passion for community with her love of thoughtful, engaging events that create positive change.
Maryjane lives in Arvada with her husband, Dennis, their daughter Lucy, and their three cats. Outside of work and spending time with family, she can often be found with her nose in a nerdy sci-fi book, hiking boots on a trail, or attempting (with mixed results) to throw pottery on the wheel.

Membership and Communications Manager
Fun Fact
I won a car in high school.
About Miranda
Miranda Stokes Schwarze (she/her) spent most of her childhood in small town, Utah, where she developed a great love for camping, the mountains, and finding the smallest joys in life. She played softball at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota and completed two internships with the Walt Disney Company before moving to Denver to pursue an MBA.
Miranda has a slew of communications experience from varying industries – from weddings to entertainment to professional development – but she enjoys her work at Housing Colorado, where she truly feels that she makes a difference.
Miranda lives in Denver with her husband, Aaron, and their two kitties – Milo (a fluffy orange menace) and Pip (a black void). Together, they spend lots of time gardening in their new backyard, playing in the mountains, and planning their next Disney vacation. They also spend a lot of time training for road races and triathlons, because Miranda will do anything for a medal.
